There is no shortage of TV shows to binge–watch on Netflix right now. With an impressive catalog of network favorites and their own growing collection of Netflix originals, your new favorite show is always just one stream away. If you are struggling to figure out what to watch next, look no further than these 5 options.
Parks and Recreation
Amy Poehler. Nick Offerman. Aubrey Plaza. Chris Pratt. Rob Lowe. Adam Scott. Aziz Ansari. Rashida Jones. I mean, with a cast like that you can’t go wrong. And, it has one of the greatest writing staffs of any show, and truly gets better with each season. You will grow to love the town of Pawnee and will honestly wish Leslie Knope was a real life person that you could be friends with. Watch it and try to tell me I’m wrong.
(Edit 12/14/17: The League is no longer on Netflix) Not a football fan? Don’t let that keep you from checking out this comedy–packed FX show. While it does have its fair share of NFL–star appearances and sports jargon, it also has a great mix of friendship, humor, relatability and nuanced characters.
Bloodline is a dramatic thriller that leaves you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. It is one of those shows that is hard to turn off, even when it’s nearing 2am and you have to work in the morning. You have been warned! It delves into the deterioration of a tight–knit family and addresses the truth about secrets, trust and alliances.
This is a more unconventional choice to binge, because it is not an actual TV show, but a 4–part documentary series by the stand–up comedian and talk show host, Chelsea Handler. It covers racism, drugs, marriage and Silicon Valley. The series is illuminating and gives you a glimpse into the life and thoughts of Handler herself.
Girlfriends Guide To Divorce
Bravo (my fave!) offers up this scripted TV show, starring Lisa Edelstein, about a self–help author’s seperation from her husband and the journey of living the single girl life in her 40s. Comedy gold!
