Two Mens Brands You Should Be Using

Do you ever find yourself going through every skincare product in the women’s beauty aisle trying to find that one product that actually works for you and your skin? I’ve been there! Lot’s of money spent, on one disappointing item after another. It’s never–ending!

I’ve found that when I can’t solve a problem, sometimes I need to change my tactic. In this case, hopping over a few aisles to the men’s beauty department did the trick. Today, I am sharing 2 of my favorite (primarily) men’s brands that you should be trying!

Harry’s Razors, “the shaving company that’s fixing shaving” is at the top of my list of men’s brands that you should be using. They sell online (and in Target stores!), own their German factory, and give 1% of their sales and 1% of their time to organizations that prepare people for personal and professional success. Plus, they have a neighborhood barber shop in New York, called Harry’s Corner Shop. Could they be any better?!

Harry’s sells men’s razors online, either in a set (The Winston Set, Storm Grey Shave Set or Truman Set) or as individual shaving supplies, such as blades, shave gels and post–shave balm. On top of that, they also have a skincare line, with items (face wash, face lotion) selling for no more than $8. The best part about this brand model, is their subscription plans, where you can get their products delivered to your door for less than $2 a blade, which is half the price of their leading competitors.

“I always struggle with razor burn or breaking out from the soapy product on women’s razors, and I have never had an issue like that with Harry’s. With the set, you get a travel case which is awesome. Their packaging is well–thought out and they are way cheaper than other brands!”

My favorite aspects about this brand’s products:

  • On the Truman set, the razor has a rubber exterior, so the grip and control is great. On women’s razors, I typically find they have a glossy exterior, that often slips.
  • I have tried different women’s shave gels/creams, and have never found one that doesn’t dry my skin out. In fact, I have stopped using them and just use my body wash now. However, I tried the Foaming Shave Gel that came with the kit and I absolutely loved it. It allowed for a smooth shave, smelled great and left my skin feeling soft.
  • The kit comes with a travel case, which has been awesome for when I need to take a quick trip into the city and need to pack a razor. It is a very thoughtful addition to the kit.

Try them out for yourself with their shave club free trial! Just choose your razor color, ongoing products and delivery schedule and the trial set will be sent to your door. Just pay $3 shipping.

Every Man Jack

Every Man Jack is a men’s product line that I was introduced to via my boyfriend. They offer skincare products for men that have naturally derived and plant–based ingredients, no dyes, no aluminum and no GMOs. With hair, body and skin products, there is something in their line that is sure to work for you.

“The body wash has jojoba beads that scrub away my dead skin and it comes in some amazing scents. The citrus scrub scent is my fave!”

Every Man Jack sells shampoos and conditioners in great scents like fresh mint and sandalwood. They also sell body wash, body bars, face wash, lip balm, moisturizers and lotions. Can’t decide? Try out a couple products via their pre–built kits to find out what is best for you and your skin.

I will definitely check out the body wash with jojoba beads. That sounds like some healthy exfoliation instead of ripping our skin to shreds. Definitely agree with you and the male razors they really do work better. Thanks for the product suggestions.

Love this post. It is very funny but I tend to use my husband’s razors more than my own. Definitely checking out the skin care products.

Love the men’s razors over the women’s. There is this electronic razor my husband bought me from Walmart and it is Ah-making! Thanks for sharing.
