Trend To Try: Crushed Velvet

Velvet was a big trend in 2016, and this fall it is making a return. And I can’t say I’m mad about it. This look can be elevated and sophisticated with a classic swing skirt or polished blazer or can go comfy with a basic crushed velvet tee. Either way, it’s time to ditch the basic black and up your velvet game with a vibrant colored option, such as navy blue or a deep maroon. This trend is sure to capture your heart and find a permanent spot in your weekly wardrobe.

I have a love-hate relationship with velvet, but I mostly love it. You have put some great products together. I am interested in a couple.

I’m really loving that long-sleeved top. Never thought I would be a velvet person but for the right style I might just try it.
