3 Natural Shampoo Products to Add To Your Routine

We all know that shampoo can be very personal: finding the right formula for your hair type takes a lot of trial and error. For me, that means I have a row of 5 different shampoo products on rotation each year. One for frizz, one for dryness, one for shine. I am constantly trying to find a natural shampoo that keeps my hair healthy all–around. Today, I am sharing my 3 favorites of the season.

Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo

I am constantly looking for new shampoo products to use, to help with my dry hair and oily scalp. I love trying products that claim to be natural or organic to see if they make any difference on my hair issues. One such product I’ve tried is Maple Holistics Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. The brand is cruelty-free, parabens-free, GMO-free and gluten free and this particular natural shampoo claims to have therapeutic benefits as well, thanks to the tea tree oil.

What I love about this shampoo:

  • The consistency is nice and not too runny.
  • The smell is very strong, but I absolutely love it. It can take some getting used to, though.
  • My hair was visibly shiner the day following shampooing.
  • The shampoo was moisturizing and helped with my dry hair.

*Thank you to Hayley of Maple Holistics for sending me a free sample of the Tea Tree Oil Shampoo. All opinions are my own. You can test out their products, via free samples, using their online form, here.

Monat Black

You may have seen one of your Facebook friends selling the Monat products on Facebook Live recently. I tried out one of their shampoos, recommended for both men and women, Monat Black. Initially drawn in for the stylish packaging, this is a product I could continue using for the quality. The natural shampoo contains no phthalates, PEG, DEA/MEA, sulfates, parabens, harsh salt systems, harmful colors or harmful fragrances. The brand claims their product increases shine, collagen and hair growth as well as reduce scalp inflammation.

What I love about this shampoo:

  • The shampoo kept my hair feeling soft and manageable for days following.
  • I typically lose a lot of hair during a shampoo, but I lost a noticeably less amount of hair using this product.
  • The packaging is well–designed and looks good in any bathroom cabinet.
  • I had less frizz the day following shampooing.

Acure Ultra–hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner

I am a big fan of the entire Acure line, especially the skin care products such as the brightening facial scrub, so I decided to try the natural shampoo and conditioner as well. The shampoo and conditioner is vegan, sulfate free, paraben free and cruelty free. Made with organic argan oil, argan stem cells, CoQ10, organic sea buckthorn oil and organic pumpkin seed oil, these products leaves your hair feeling smooth, manageable and shiny.

What I love about this shampoo:

  • The shampoo made my hair feel soft, without even needing to use the conditioner, so if you are short on time, you can just shampoo and go.
  • My hair was less frizzy and much smoother the day following shampooing.
  • You can use these products long–term and continue noticing the effects.
