Fall Fashion Essentials with Tobi

Fall is one of my favorite seasons for fashion. Sweaters, cardigans, layering, plaid, scarves. The possibilities are endless! A great place to find fall fashion essentials (think casual tops for layering, oversized sweaters to stay warm) is Tobi.com. Keep reading for an inside look and some of my fave pieces from the online clothing site, with tips for styling your looks this fall!

Lauren Choker Black & White Tee

Casual, striped shirts are a staple in my fall wardrobe, because they pair well with other prints, such as plaid or floral and work well under sweaters or cardigans. This option (size large, $46) from Tobi, has a choker neckline, which is on trend this season, and is a classic black and white, so you can wear it with other neutrals colors, such as gray, as I did here, or with more vibrant colors, such as red or teal. Other great styling options:

  • With a classic trench
  • Worn under overalls
  • Under a utility vest

Don’t Mock Me Marsala Tie Sleeve Top

My closet is filled with black, white and gray sweaters, so every now and then I like to throw in a colorful option, so this marsala mock neck, tie sleeve sweater (size large; $66) will be on rotation in my wardrobe this fall. This top works as a neutral can be tucked in so it has a crewneck feel, or left long and worn with tights and knee-high boots. Here, I paired it with a blanket sweater, a suede handbag, and black booties, for a casual, everyday look.

Sweetly Scalloped Lilac Shift Dress

During the fall, I often have events that I want to wear a dress too, but still, want to stay warm, so it has to pair well with a cardigan or blazer easily. This lilac scalloped shift dress is perfect for a reunion, wedding or work meeting. I like to have a few outfits that still have a spring feel to them in the fall, to keep myself feeling positive, so I paired this dress with a light pink blazer and a jewel-toned statement necklace. Other great styling options are:

  • Belted with a striped cardigan
  • Over–the–knee boots
  • Under a chunky sweater
