One of my absolute favorite things is getting an inside look at the products, books, podcasts, charities, etc. that bloggers use and love. I have a running list on my phone of blogger–recommended items to try throughout the year. Last summer, I introduced a new series to ElizabethMae called Currently Crushing, a post sharing our must-haves, must-reads, must-dos with you. Keep reading for the five things I’ve been loving this month.
On ElizabethMae, we have a weekly series called Links Loved where we share our favorite reads around the internet for the week. With that having such a great response, I wanted to share my favorite blogs with you as well! Right now, I am loving:
For Christmas, my sister-in-law Reegan, gave me a few items from Urban Oreganics, and I have absolutely fallen in love with their Reusable Facial Rounds. “The perfect eco-friendly alternative to wasteful cotton balls. Made from 2 layers of flannel, in your choice of organic white cotton or cotton monochrome mixed prints.” At just $20 for 20 rounds, these are a steal! And because they are machine washable, you can keep using them. I use them to apply my toner and with my micellar water to remove my makeup.
Usually, my months consist more of reading than of TV and movies, but April has been an exception (maybe because I am not loving my current read: Manhattan Beach by Jennifer Egan). I have some all-time favorite shows that I watch on repeat when I am working or falling asleep, but this month I found a few new shows I might add to the rotation. Because I love getting new recommendations, I wanted to share everything I have watched lately, with my star ratings!
Amy Schumer Growing (3/5) / 7 Days Out, Episodes 1-3 (4/5) / Solo: A Star Wars Movie (5/5) / Santa Clarita Diet (5/5) / FYRE (4/5) / Big Mouth My Furry Valentine (3/5) / F Is For Family (4/5)
Lost (3/5) / A.P. Bio (2/5) / Fences (3/5)
Prime + Other
Downton Abbey (5/5) / Ralph Breaks The Internet (2/5) / On The Basis Of Sex (4/5) / First Man (2/5) / Smallfoot (4/5) / Oceans 8 (3/5)
One of my favorite ways to end the night is scanning through my RollUp (a feature of the app UnRoll Me) to read my favorite newsletters from the day. I love that these newsletters go straight to one folder in my inbox, so I can easily find them, read the ones I want to, and delete the rest, starting fresh each day. Right now, there are several newsletters that I hate to miss and I wanted to share them with you. Each of these has a unique approach and subject matter, but all are not to be missed.
